Petah-Jane (PJ) Auckland-Hall is an Australian Christian author, international speaker and tour leader who has travelled throughout Egypt since 2012. Her book, Egypt for the Discerning Traveller: A Christian Woman’s Perspective, grew from that long relationship with the country and her own journey out of the New Age and into Christ.

On the ground, PJ works alongside Abdou, her trusted Egyptian guide and operational partner since 2012. PJ creates the journey; Abdou brings the deep local knowledge and practical wisdom that allow it to unfold well.

The journey allows Scripture to be encountered through geography, people, history, culture, worship and lived experience. It is formation rather than religious sightseeing.

One complete pilgrimage.

Join us in Cairo for a welcome dinner on 30 March, before our 23-day journey begins on 31 March. From there, we travel through Alexandria and the White Desert, down through Oxyrhynchus, Tel el-Amarna, Abydos, Nag Hammadi and Upper Egypt, before spending five nights in Sinai, visiting St Catherine’s Monastery and Moses Mountain.
