Sometimes there is a particular place you need to reach. A biblical thread you want to follow. A part of Egypt you have not been able to find in the usual itineraries. Or perhaps you simply want to slow down and meet the country beyond the monuments.

Egypt isn’t an abstract concept for me, or a vague reference point.

When I am not in the hotels or searching for new experiences, I live in the villages for up to six weeks at a time. It has given me a beautiful perspective on Egypt—and led me to specialise in creating unique and memorable experiences for solo travellers, couples and families looking for something beyond the usual itinerary.

I have spent 14 years travelling more than 18,000 kilometres across its cities, villages, deserts, monasteries, churches, temples and homes. I know the roads. I know what is possible. And I know people on the ground whom I trust.

That may mean shaping the itinerary and connecting you with the right people in Egypt. For some journeys, it may also be possible for me to come with you.
